Who we are

We are both mental health providers that have been married since 2012 when we met in Long Beach, CA. We love to travel and most recently spent time in the Mediterranean, British Isles, and Australia. We love travelling to Disney with our extended family. We live at home with our 2 dogs and 9 cats, all rescues.

Dr. Bellman-Seeskin is available for supervision, consultation and/or mental health training/presentations on a wide variety of psychoeducational topics.

Dr. Bellman-Seeskin is a licensed psychologist who received her degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2007.  After completing an internship at Atascadero State Hospital, she went on to provide mental health services (California & Texas) both in-person and through tele-health, with many different populations: state hospitals, community mental health centers, long-term residential care, Veterans Health Administration, and served as a Site Training Director for a substance abuse treatment program.  She has also worked as an independent contractor with employee assistance programs and performing Social Security disability exams in Boston, MA.  Dr. Bellman-Seeskin currently works as a mental health examiner conducting Compensation & Pension exams with Veterans.  She is bilingual in English/Spanish.

Natalie K. Bellman-Seeskin, PhD

Max specializes in individual therapy for adults with challenges around Gender Identity, Sexuality, Anxiety, Depression and Neurodiversity from lived experience as a queer person, & has worked with folx of all ages in both inpatient & outpatient settings.

Max's journey as a mental health provider started in 2005 at California State University-Northridge when they started the Music Therapy Program. Max graduated from CSUN with a degree in Music Therapy in 2007, became Board Certified, and began working in inpatient mental health in Long Beach, CA.

When Max was going through their own transition process it became clear to them that there was a need for competent gender affirming therapists, and they enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Antioch University in 2018. Max graduated in 2021 and has been working as a Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual therapy since that time.
